IMX launches “IMX Talent” its talent management division
IMX Talent will manage the image and careers of some of the greatest icons in sports and entertainment. Portfolio includes stars and young talents such as Maurren Maggi, Torben Grael, Lars Grael, Carlos Alberto Kirmayr, Gabriel Medina, and Martine Grael.Through the experience of IMG Worldwide, the division debuts with over 50 years of experience in the industry; already responsible for the management of athletes including Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova, current winners of the French Open Tennis Tournament
It was announced today that IMX, a joint venture of the EBX Group and IMG Worldwide, has launched IMX Talent , a division of the company focused on image and career management of some of the biggest names in global sports and entertainment.Founded upon IMG’s over 50 years of experience and global leadership in talent management, it will have access to clients who are represented by the company around the world. IMG’s clients are icons in their fields and include, among others, French Open winners Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova, Luke Donald (golf), Alex Ovechkin (ice hockey), Taylor Swift (singer), Kate Upton (model), Paula Creamer (golf), and Li Na (tennis).
The IMX Talent portfolio is divided into “World’s Best,” “Legends,” and “New Talent,” which already includes athletes Maurren Maggi, Torben Grael, Lars Grael, Carlos Alberto Kirmayr, Gabriel Medina, and Martine Grael.

Maurren Maggi (Track and Field) - C Olympic long jump gold medalist at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.She has qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London and expects to be among the eight best in the world.
Lars Grael (Sailing) - Tornado class, bronze medalist at the Olympic Games in Seoul (1988) and Atlanta (1996).In 1998, he suffered a serious accident, which resulted in the loss of his right leg, yet returned to sailing and won several titles in the Ocean class. He told his story in the book The Saga of a Champion.” Thereafter, he began lecturing and then returned to Olympic sailing in the Star class. In this category, he won the bronze medal in Sweden at the 2009 Star World Championship and remained in the Top10 category for two years. Today, he is one of the most sought after motivational speakers in the market.
Carlos Alberto Kirmayr (Tennis) - During an 18-year professional career, he achieved a career-high 32nd place position in the ATP rankings. Along with Cássio Motta, he was chosen the world’s fifth best double.He was a Brazilian team member in the Davis Cup, participating as a player, captain, organizer, and assistant. He bested emblematic players of his generation, such as Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Roscoe Tanner, and Ilie Nastase.He has coached players such as Gabriela Sabatini, Arantxa Sanchez, and Conchita Martinez, collecting 21 WTA titles in this period. In 2005, Kirmayr founded the LOB Women’s Tennis Institute, which has been readying young Brazilians to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro. Institute notables include Paula Gonçalves and Roxane Vaisemberg, who is considered the world’s best young player.
Gabriel Medina (Surfing) - Born in 1993, he is a member of the ASP World Tour (WT), which is restricted to the 36 best surfers on the planet.In 2010, at Piha Beach, New Zealand, he won the ISA Under 18 World Junior Championship, and at Bells Beach, Australia, he won the Rip Curl International GromSearch Finals. In 2011, he claimed victory at three WQS Supersurf International 6-Star Prime events held in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, France and Spain. In May 2012, he won the WQS Trestles in California.
Martine Grael (Sailing) - Daughter of Torben Grael, she has shown great promise in world sailing.She was a featured participant in the 2011 World Military Games, where she was crowned champion.
