Mr Lam

Mr Lam restaurant resulted from the association of a businessman known for his innovative and original spirit – Eike Batista – and a world known Chinese chef who specializes in contemporary Chinese cuisine – Sik Chung Lam, or Mr. Lam. Batista met Mr. Lam at the famous New York restaurant Mr. Chow, fell in love with the traditional reinvented dishes and decided to bring this concept to Rio de Janeiro.

After months of searching, Batista found a building in a privileged location and a spectacular view of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, perfect for installing the restaurant. From its architecture and decoration to the dishes and service, Mr Lam stands out for its excellence and positioning in the “Uniqueness” concept.

The “Uniqueness” concept extends to all of the establishments with unique qualities in their category, using differentials that make them stand out from the competition and which are not copied by chains and franchises.

Today, Mr Lam is inserted in the Carioca circuit, known as one of the city’s top restaurants for social and professional events. 

  The restaurant offers the following:
•    1st floor: Reception bar and main room with 90 places and round tables for up to 14 persons.
•    2nd floor: Reserved environments, four modular rooms with acoustic insulation, perfect for up to 30 persons.
•    3rd floor – Terrace: Retractable roof, breathtaking view. Space for up to 150 persons.
