A Strategic Social Investment is the voluntary donation of private funds in a planned, monitored and systematic manner to socio-environmental programs and projects that contribute to the lasting and self-sustainable development of communities in areas of interest and influence of the Group’s projects.

For the EBX Group, social investment actions can be classified as follow:

- Structuring Actions: those implemented in partnership with the government that prepare the local infrastructure for the insertion of the project, primarily in the areas of transport, supply of goods and services, housing, health, education, basic sanitation and the strengthening of public administration.

- Social, environmental and cultural actions: those that contribute to the sustainable development of the community by strengthening social and human capital, primarily in the areas of health, education, income generation, environment and culture.
