The sustainability policy is a statement of commitment by the organization. Validated by the highest leadership, the document is the basis for all of the company’s activities and is the foundation of the Management System for Sustainable Development. Our Sustainability Policy is signed by the President of the EBX Group, Eike Batista.

Sustainability policy of the EBX Group

The EBX Group believes that environment, health, safety and social responsibility are inseparable values in a harmonious and integrated system, governed by a set of ethical principles that respect people, the environment, the community and future generations, seeking sustainability and continuous improvement of our business through the following actions:

• Meeting all legal and other relevant requirements;
• Creating conditions that preserve the integrity of individuals;
• Conserving the environment, seeking to use best practices;
• Maintaining cooperative, credible and open relationships, with Government Agencies and Stakeholders;
•Fostering sustainable development and improvement of the quality of life of its employees and the communities in those places where it operates;
•Promoting education, training, and awareness employees and contractors with respect to the environment, safety, health and social responsibility;
• Adopting their activities, products and services the concept of prevention related to the issues of environment, safety, health and social responsibility;
• Developing partnerships with suppliers and contractors.
